HUBER Solutions for Sedimentation (Settling Tanks and Clarifiers)
Sedimentation processes serve for separation of heavy and floating matter. Primary sludge consists of solids contained in raw sewage and is removed in primary settling tanks, secondary sludge consists of biomass generated during biological treatment and is removed in clarifiers.

A HUBER speciality are submerged pipes for circular tanks, both for inlets (Opti-Flow System) and for outlets (TRRU-System), which are installed at the circumference of tanks below their water surface. Such submerges pipes serve for even distribution of the inflow with low turbulence as well as for even collection of the outflow without any impairment by scum formation, wind disturbance and tank settlement.
Of course, all HUBER products are made of high-grade, corrosion resistant and durable stainless steel; and they are passivated in our factory's pickling bath for optimal surface protection and finishing.
